Onto the 24th of January with guest Danny Boyle. He was on to promote the Trainspotting sequel but started by talking a bit about the Oscars (nominations came out on this day).
He won brownie points from me for sequeing the conversation from La La Land to talk about Hamilton the Musical and described it as “completely groundbreaking”. I’m with Danny on that and do hope they have more about it on the show when it opens in October. (Or, you know, as he’s over here right now filming Mary Poppins can’t they just get Lin-Manuel Miranda on as a guest?)
